Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Karen Ashline is Chief Executive Officer for the Adirondacks ACO and the Adirondack Health Institute (AHI). The ACO and AHI share a strong, collaborative partner network with a long history, focused on ensuring patients and their communities have available high quality healthcare services, with care at the right time – in the right setting and at the lowest possible cost. This partnership is focused on working collaboratively with community partners (hospitals, physician practices, behavioral health partners, and community-based organizations) on innovative initiatives that advance quality, improve access and affordability, and transform health care delivery in the rural North Country region of New York State.

Karen is a native of rural Essex County, New York. She has a clear understanding of the rural demographics of the area and the challenges patients, families and their health care providers are faced with in the some of the most rural counties of northeastern New York State.
